Biography
Andrew D. Gaudet, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a courtesy associate professor in the Department of Neurology at Dell Medical School.
Gaudet aims to discover new mechanisms and therapeutic strategies for improving spinal cord repair. In addition, Gaudet is studying neuropathic pain, metabolic function and anxiety and mood disorders.
Gaudet completed postdoctoral training in the lab of Linda Watkins, Ph.D., at the University of Colorado Boulder and in the lab of Phillip Popovich, Ph.D., at Ohio State University. Gaudet completed his doctoral training with Matt Ramer, Ph.D., at The University of British Columbia.
