Biography

Krishna Pokala, M.D., went to high school in Austin, Texas, and is excited to be back as program director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship. Pokala earned his B.S. in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was part of the inaugural class graduating from the Neurology Residency at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. Upon completion of his neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Southern California, Pokala returned to his hometown to serve the growing population of Austin and mentor future neurologists. He has recently been named a Rising Star on the list of Texas Monthly's Super Doctors.
