Biography

Kristina Julich, M.D., is chief of the Pediatric Neurogenetics Center and a board-certified pediatric epileptologist in the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s. Julich earned her medical degree from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in Germany, where she received highest honors. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Charité Children’s Hospital in Berlin, as well as a second residency in child neurology and a fellowship in neurogenetics at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she was the child neurology residency chief. She also completed a clinical research and training fellowship and the EpiPORT clinical research training program from the American Epilepsy Society.

Julich is widely published in peer review journals and has co-authored a chapter on genetic disorders in Pediatric Neurology: Clinical Assessment and Management. She serves as associate editor for genetic disorders for Annals of the Child Neurology Society.
