Sara Austin, M.D.

Sara Austin, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist specializing in neuromuscular medicine. Most recently she has been involved in starting a peripheral nerve injury clinic in partnership with neurosurgery and plastic surgery. When Austin isn’t seeing patients or teaching residents and fellows, she can be found advocating for health care at the legislative level. She has been listed as a Texas Super Doctor and Best Austin Doctor multiple times and is a favorite among patients and residents. A longtime active member of the Texas Neurological Society, Austin was recently awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award honoring members in the state for outstanding service to her patients and the specialty.
